Promo video for educational game - Lesilabra

Summary

Our goal in work was to create an app promo video partially adding animated screens to show app benefits and how it works in an attractive way. For now, the Lesilabra app has more than 100k users and keeps growing!

The Problem

Max Shpokha, owner of the Lesilabra app reached out to us requesting an app promo video for the marketing campaign and to use it on market pages. The goal we had to achieve with the video was to show how the app can help kids study reading by playing games on their phones or tablets that they love so much.

The Process

We started working on the video by brainstorming ideas regarding what way of creating the client's request would be the most effective one.
Having discussed the problem our team decided that it would be the best way to shoot videos where the mom and her kid start using Lesilabra and the kid is really excited to leave his previous games to play educational Lesilabra games, also to show the second point we decided to integrate animated scenes to show how Lesilabra’s games look like and at the end of the video there was important to show the result where kid start reading books.
So, we moved to the next stage and created a storyboard which was a rough visualization of our ideas to show what the storyline will look like and the client liked it a lot.
We were happy tham Max loved it and we moved to clear designs stage and shooting videos paralelly to save clients time cause this two stages doesnt effect each other. By the way Max Shpokha was present on the filming location and took part in production processes :)
Then, the client was able to see the final scenes and let us the green light to finalize the video by making sound design, and creating unique music according to the video flow…
… a little magic for the recorded videos with the addition of extra animations to achieve the perfect result…
