Pubgar is a game but not usual, it is a browser game where you can win real money so it was a unique case for us to explain how it works to users using an explainer video.

The client requested an explainer video to make his game easier for understanding for new players, he wanted to make the first steps clear by using a video on the main page of the website, describing how it works, skills that everyone can use, and how gamers can earn money.

We started working on the video by brainstorming as usual and wrote step-by-step instructions for new players which helped us to build an effective storyline.

When the client approved our ideas our designer started working on illustrations and the first point in the video was very simple, a call to action “I want to play” that visualized the beginning of the game.

Then it was important to show the main mechanic of the game - to eat dots and become bigger to eat other players to win the game.

And in the end, if your character becomes the biggest one you eat your opponents and win, so the last screen was about earning rewards and getting paid.
